Description
1800 Anejo Tequila is made by Casa Cuervo in the town of Tequila and is an excellent example of the full bodied lowland style. 1800 was the first year that ‘vino de mezcal’ was ‘rested’ in oak barrels. This Anejo is aged for 14 months in French oak, and some aged in American oak for 3 years, to create a blend which adds depth of flavour and pronounced oakiness to this deep and rich sipping tequila.
