Forge Single Malt is a refined expression from Chief’s Son Distillery, a family-owned operation in Somerville, Victoria. Known for its dedication to traditional craftsmanship and innovation, the distillery handcrafts small-batch whiskies using high-quality Australian barley. Forge is an evolution of their 900 series recipe, featuring Voyager ale malt and a touch of Gladfields Peated Malt. Matured for three years in 100L 2nd fill French oak casks, this whisky highlights the malt and yeast, offering a delicate balance of creamy malt, toffee, caramel, and subtle peat smoke.
