Description

Jura is found just across the water from famous whisky-island, Islay. The Isle of Jura distillery makes a similar style, albeit with the peat dialed down a little. This whisky is a good example of the island’s style: aged in former Bourbon casks, before a finishing period in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, it possesses a sweet, smoky, spicy, and coastal character. Elegantly peated with a medium body.
