Description
The Kura 8 Year Old is a superb example of the Japanese awamori style of whisky. Inspired by a 600 year old tradition of fermenting and distilling, it’s made from locally sourced Indica long grain rice and mashed with unique strains of black Koji. The distilled spirit is matured in selected virgin American white oak casks for a minimum of 8 years on the Island of Okinawa.
