This glorious rum is from the Dominican Republic and has heritage going back to Cuba. Matusalem Gran Reserva is a rum that benefits from marrying advanced aged rums with younger rums, to fortify the strength of flavour and to create a balanced blend that has smooth intensity and hints of vibrancy in this 15 year old rum. This method borrows from the Solera ageing system used for Sherries in Spain.
