Starward Solera Single Malt Australian Whisky (700mL)

Description

Matured in small French oak casks previously used to age Apera fortified wine (Australian style sherry). The solera system simultaneously combines maturation and blending, taking rows of aged whisky and blending them with slightly younger casks in a tiered system called a ‘scale’. A fractional amount of each young cask is blended with a more mature spirit.
