Description
The Eden Road The Long Road Chardonnay 2017 has a delightfully lifted nose, showing white flowers and orange blossom with hints of almonds and nutmeg. Classic Tumbarumba-acidity which is propped up by the use of select French oak, leading to some spice on a rich and full palate. Long lean natural acidity. Whole bunch-pressed directly to a selection of French oak barriques and stainless steel tank. Alcoholic fermentation with a selected yeast. 12 months in barrels on full lees and in stainless steel tank on fine lees with a select portion allowed to go through partial malolactic fermentation. The wine was then fined, cold stabilized and sterile filtered before bottling.
