Over the years our friend at Unico Zelo have played with different styles of roses with many varieties (Nero, Nebbiolo, Barbera, etc.) but they never found one that stuck. Until now! The team had a play with some of their Sangiovese from their Polish Hill River site, generally destined for their Truffle Hound, and they have since become enamoured! Blended with some Old Vine Grenache from the Riverland and a bit of Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris that’s seen a lick of skin contact for that copper hue. The resuling wine is as Unico as can be! A blend from their key regions, amazing vineyards, and their house style – vibrant, fresh, and dry. Enjoy!
