‘The Madman’ (‘Le Fou” in French) is a range of varietal wines from the sun-drenched vineyards of the south of France. The plots for the grape varieties are carefully chosen so that the winemaker, who may be slightly made in his ambition, can capture the ripeness afforded by the many hours of sunshine and yet retain the recognisable typicity of the grape variety. Thus the Le Fou The Madman Sauvignon Blanc has been made to express the typically, bright aromatics and the zippy, juicy flavours of grapes picked at optimum ripeness which retain their vibrant freshness and appetising fruit.
