Kilchoman Distillery was established in 2005 and is true to Islay’s rich farm distilling heritage. The distillery uses local peat cut in the traditional way, slowly distilling all spirits by hand, allowing maturation to occure in traditional dunnage warehouses, and bottling on site without any colouring or chill-filtration. This set contains 1x 200ml bottle each of the Machir Bay Single Malt and the Sanaig Single Malt Whisky. Machir Bay has aromas of citrus and lemon with a sweet smoky notes. Flavours of butterscotch and aroma flow across the palate followed by an intense sweet peaty aftertaste. On the other side, the Sanaig has aromas of soft cooked fruits with evidence of vanilla and caramel. Toffee, citrus, and peat smoke flavours on the palate with a lingering sweetness aftertaste.
