The 2019 vintage of Santorini PDO Nykteri from SantoWines in mainly produced with Assyrtiko grapes with a dash of Aidani and Athiri. The Nykteri, meaning staying up all night, pays tribute to the the unique wine-making style of pressing the night after their harvest. Along with the great concentration and ripe-fruit character this wine is not to be missed. In the glass, this wine is a clear lemon colour with medium intensity. Aromas of jasmine flow through with green fruits, pear & green apple, along with a vanilla background. A dry palate with a refreshingly crisp acidity, excellent balance blends with the delicate fruit and floral flavours.
