Product Description Koomilya GT Block Shiraz 2022 is a single-block expression of McLaren Vale Shiraz from vines planted in 1974, originally grafted onto Gewürztraminer rootstock. Crafted by Stephen Pannell, the wine reflects the unique slaty siltstone and ironstone soils of the site, producing a Shiraz of perfume, detail, and restraint. The 2022 vintage benefited from a long, cool season, allowing tannins and complexity to develop without heaviness. Matured in seasoned French oak vats, this Shiraz showcases purity of fruit, savoury depth, and mineral freshness—a wine that speaks directly of its place.
