It is conceived as the reference point of the .1 series, showing smoke with clarity, structure and a surprising sense of restraint. Bottled at 59.3 percent ABV, non chill filtered and naturally coloured, it carries sea spray, orchard fruit and dried heather through a core of warm earth and sweet malt. Vanilla bean, toasted almond and soft spice add breadth before the whisky settles into a lingering, smoky and mineral finish, particularly apt alongside slow cooked pork or charred shellfish.
