Product Description: From the oldest Pinot Noir vines at Bannockburn, Olive Tree Hill is a study in patience and presence. First planted in 1976, these own-rooted MV6 vines are now approaching fifty years of age, producing naturally low yields of concentrated fruit. Year after year, the block delivers wines of depth, colour and structure, carrying the calm authority that only mature vines can offer. The 2024 release was handpicked, fully destemmed and fermented on skins for 10 days before resting in French oak hogsheads, 40% of them new. What emerges is a Pinot Noir both generous and grounded: red and dark fruits layered with spice, forest floor and a measured, old-vine power. Full and rounded, yet balanced with quiet persistence, Olive Tree Hill speaks with confidence of its history and place.
