The current owners have been fortunate to enjoy a string of exceptional vintages since acquiring Chateau Les Grands Marechaux, including the one that gave rise to this claret. It provided perfectly ripe fruit for winemaker Stephane Derenoncourt to perform his magic with. Having worked at several prestigious Saint Emilion estates, including La Mondotte, Canon La Gaffeliere, and Pavie Macquin, Stephane is a legend in Bordeaux. There’s a lot to like about the depth in this wine, from the aromas of violets and purple berries to the sleek, succulent and energetic feel of the palate.
