The wine underwent 30 percent whole-cluster fermentation and 18 months elevage in mainly large-format oak with only 20 percent new, preserving both polish and tension. It feels strikingly balanced, bright, mineral, and alert, yet firmly rooted in the cru’s gravitas. Fabien Coche’s voice in Burgundy pinot draws on a lineage yet stands apart.
