Expressive yet taut, it layers peach and nectarine fruit with subtle honey, cut by steely acidity and finishing long and fine. Drawn from ten parcels of 20–60 year old vines, this cuvee reflects Puligny’s full spectrum of terroir. Les Tremblot shows the lifted, mineral profile of argileous soils, while Les Meix and Les Levrons add roundness from their stony gravel. Corvee des Vignes and Les Reuchaux complete the picture, all vineyards situated just beneath the premier cru line. After eleven months in barrel (15–20% new) and a further seven in stainless steel, the result is a wine of definition and quiet persistence.
