Fruit from organically farmed Chardonnay vines is hand-harvested from the steep, east-facing slopes of Montee de Tonnerre, where limestone and marl soils impart both tension and mineral weight. Fermentation proceeds naturally with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and seasoned oak, with around 30% of the blend aged in old wood to add quiet texture without overt influence. The 2023 vintage reflects the domaine’s patient, low-intervention approach. Medium to full-bodied yet taut, with crystalline acidity and fine chalk structure. Aromas of beeswax, honeysuckle and orchard fruit lead to a palate of precision and length.
