Frogmore Creek Iced Riesling, sustainably grown in the Coal River region of Southern Tasmania, is a dessert wine made in the classical style of German Eiswein. Grapes freeze on the vines (Southern Tasmania is very cold!), and are pressed from frozen resulting in more concentrated, rich fruit flavours while retaining the natural acidity of riesling. Aromas of floral tones of Liil of the Valley blend with raw honey. The palate is sweet with fresh acidity. Flavours of lychee and green pair.
