The latest and very limited release from Husk Distillers is here. The Lost Blend is a limited release of 761 individually numbered bottles of Husk Cultivated Australian Rum. This majestic drop was produced from hand-cut and crushed whole cane sticks and distilled in their1000 litre hybrid pot column still then poured into American oak barrels filled between 2014 – 2016 and bottled in August 2021. So why is it known as “The Lost Blend”. Well during the Great Flood of 2017, the hand-written distillation notes for the two barrels filled in 2014 were destroyed and with that their fermentation histories and distillation cuts were lost forever.
