Description
‘The Madman’ (‘Le Fou” in French) is a range of varietal wines from the sun-drenched vineyards of the south of France. The plots for the grape varieties are carefully chosen so that the winemaker, who may be slightly made in his ambition, can capture the ripeness afforded by the many hours of sunshine and yet retain the recognisable typicity of the grape variety. Thus the Madman Malbec is full of deep red berry fruit flavours, with a touch of underlying parma violets. Unoaked, the wine is pure and intense expression of Malbec at its best.
