Logan Chardonnay’s grapes are grown high. Really high. 930m-above-sea-level kind of high. While it means Logan’s vineyard workers have to put on a few extra layers of clothing, the cool climate adds a few extra layers to the taste. The coolness gently ripens the fruit, so it retains delicacy and freshness while developing a full-bodied flavour. Look for aromatic flavours of grapefruit, nectarine, cashew and a touch of flint with a long mineral and lemon zest finish.
