Old Kempton Distillery Pinot Small Cask Matured Whisky is bottled at 46%. This special drop is highly sought after and is not often available. Aged exclusively in 20 litre or 100 litre single casks for the entire maturation in their 1840’s stables bond store. On the nose this whisky has aromas of lifted floral notes with sweet cherry elements coming from the Pinot Noir ageing. The palate is clean with a sweet explosion of flavours. It then settles to a delicately delicious and warm mixture of stone fruits and floral elements. The finish is clean and long with lingering toffee sweetness and chocolate underlying the crisp pinot cask oak tannins.
