The 2023 Pio Cesare Piodilei Chardonnay is sourced from selected hillside vineyards in Treiso and surrounding high-elevation Langhe sites, where cooler exposures and calcareous clay soils preserve aromatic lift and structural tension. Fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, followed by extended lees maturation that builds texture without masking varietal clarity.
