Description
Product Description: Born on the island of Lesvos, refined through generations in Plomari. Adolo is the rarest expression of Ouzo Plomari, drawn from the purest heart” of the distillate after an extended triple distillation in handmade copper stills first fired in 1911. Isidoros Arvanitis founded the Plomari distillery in 1894 with a vision to craft ouzo that could represent Greece beyond its borders. Adolo carries that vision forward, using more than fifteen botanicals from Lesvos, including organic anise grown in the volcanic soils of Lisvori, fennel, mastic, and warming spices. The process is slow, fuelled by olive wood fires, and the result is a spirit regarded as one of the most refined interpretations of Greek ouzo today. Tasting Notes NOSE – Clean and lifted Aromatic anise layered with fennel, mastic, cinnamon, and soft chamomile. PALATE – Smooth and textural Semidry with a warm, rounded presence; flavours of anise, fennel seed, mastic, and gentle spice.
