She embarked on expanding her House by creating wines that were truly unique, always emphasizing uncompromising quality. Ahead of her time in matters of taste, Madame Pommery introduced Pommery Nature in 1874, the first successful brut champagne that broke away from the tradition of overly sweet wines. As a woman in a predominantly male-dominated industry, she left an indelible mark on her champagnes, imprinting them with her distinct personality.
