Passion for wine is in the Scorpo blood. It is a whole family operation stretching across generations and geography – from Sicily to Sardinia and now Australia. A lively and intense nose captures a wide range of berries. Fresh raspberries, mulberries and boysenberries present first and foremost, complemented by a mix of spices such as clove and Chinese fivespice, then finished off with a hint of violets and bouquet garni. The palate is uniform, direct and poised with a gentle roundness.
