Product Description: A fragrant and finely etched expression of Verduno’s grand cru. Monvigliero sits at 240 metres above sea level, its limestone-clay soils and south-facing exposure giving Nebbiolo a lifted, aromatic profile unlike any other Barolo site. Vietti has worked with the cru since 2018, quickly establishing it as one of the estate’s most distinctive wines. The 2021 vintage includes around sixty percent whole-cluster fermentation, enhancing perfume and structure while maintaining elegance. Ageing for two years in large oak casks has preserved clarity and finesse. The result is a wine of striking fragrance and precision, with floral and herbal complexity carried by fine tannins and vibrant acidity.
