Description
Viña Ventisquero Reserva Carmenere comes from the Colchagua Valley in Chile. 70% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, followed by an additional bottle aging of 3 months. The resulting wine is a deep cherry colour with with maroon hues. The nose has intense aromas of fresh red and black fruits like strawberries, cherries, black and blue berries, blended with some spicy earth tones followed by hints of chocolate and vanilla. It is well rounded, well balanced, with delicious structure and velvety tannins. Pair this wine with creamy dishes, soft cheese, spicy dishes or stews.
