Drawn largely from Yangarra’s oldest Roussanne plantings, this wine reflects the variety’s natural gravitas, shaped by a cool season that favoured balance, freshness and structural detail. The Roux Beaute cuvee is defined by its layered winemaking approach, with a portion fermented and matured on skins to build phenolic grip and complexity. Citrus, stone fruit and savoury notes unfold gradually, supported by saline detail and measured acidity. The palate is composed and expansive rather than overt, offering a sense of restraint that underlines its pedigree. This is a Roussanne of substance and clarity, suited to thoughtful drinking alongside roast poultry, grilled seafood or richer vegetable dishes.
