The de Pury family tradition of excellence in winemaking and farming, which started in 1863, is continued today by fourth-generation siblings Sandra and David de Pury. The Yeringberg Chardonnay is an elegant cool climate wine with subtle hints of fermentation in French oak barrels. This wine will develop a soft and smooth maturity with 3-6 years in cellar. Stonefruit, biscuit, nuts, honey, grapefruit. Intense and firm acidity through bold flavour of stonefruit and grilled nuts, perhaps some aniseed, tang and zest of citrus, and a long perfumed finish of excellent length. Yum.
