Spicy and bright, this Pinot Noir is a wine balancing finesse and delicacy with sense of complexity and depth from the old vines. Elegant, floral, and perfumed, the Yeringberg Pinot Noir 2018 vintage will further develop its complexity with 5-6 years of cellaring. Red berries, smoky toasty oak, ginger and almond biscuits, latent floral perfume. It’s fresh and autumnal at once, a fine mesh of tannin and bright almost tangy acidity, spicy wood plays a pretty firm hand, lively finish of good length.
