Product Description: Old-vine Chassagne, bottled with clarity and cut. Caroline Morey’s 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc ‘Chambrees’ blends fruit from three mature parcels—Le Chene, Les Masures and La Bergerie—bringing together vine age, terroir, and subtle winemaking touch. While each parcel was vinified separately, they were ultimately assembled for this vintage, including new vines taken en fermage, adding another layer to the cuvee. With an average vine age of 40+ years, this wine delivers crystalline citrus and white orchard fruit, cut with a streak of acidity that gives structure and edge. Though taut today, it’s already showing generosity uncommon at this level, with spice and depth beginning to build. Give it a short rest in bottle—2025 to 2028 will show this wine at its best. Tasting Notes NOSE – Bright and spicy Pale citrus fruit meets a lift of white pepper and crushed stone. PALATE – Crisp and structured Ripe orchard fruit framed by brisk acidity and underlying salinity. FINISH – Firm and mineral Persistent with citrus pith and chalky length.
