The 2017 vintage delivered fruit of purity and balance, resulting in a medium-bodied wine with clear red and black fruit definition, finely structured tannins, and remarkable longevity. Fermented in open vats to shape fine, supple tannins and matured in small French oak barriques (new and seasoned) for 12 to 18 months, this vintage shows the precision and restraint that define the Lake’s Folly style.
