Every year, a local Tasmanian patisserie selects red wine asks to fill with fruit jus, specially used for making their Christmas fruit mince pies. The festive casks are then emptied and transported to Lark Distillery, where they are filled with their own season spirit. This year, the single malt selected was from Old Hobart Distillery, chosen especially for its bright and refined floral notes. The casks matched perfectly with the spirit, giving the whisky some deliciously decadent seasonal spice characteristics.
