Mac Forbes Spring Riesling 2021 vintage is their most elegant Spring riesling to date, with notes of jasmine, pear drop, lemon balm and white peach. Subtle but intense, with tactile phenolic structure leading the way. The 2021 season in the Strathbogie Ranges was abundant, with practically flawless conditions during fruit set. A couple of significant rain events in late January/early February delayed ripening a little, while moderate daytime temperatures and cool nights throughout February and March allowed the grapes to retain impressive acids. A vintage characterised by structure with a wide spectrum of fruit expression across their picks.
